Chelsea's top target: Premier League wonderkid surges up shortlist
Chelsea have made Milos Kerkez their top target for the left-back position, according to a report.
The Blues are in the market for reinforcements for the left side of their defence after Ben Chilwell had a season disrupted by injuries. Marc Cucurella, who also had a spell on the sideline, is facing an uncertain future despite improving significantly late on in the Mauricio Pochettino era.
With Cucurella potentially on the way out, Chelsea are looking to add a young player with high potential at left-back, which is firmly in line with their transfer policy since Todd Boehly took over the club.

One of the most intriguing options on the Premier League market is Bournemouth youngster Milos Kerkez. The west London giants have been keeping tabs on him since at least last year and they liked what they saw from the Hungarian in his first-ever season in the English top flight.
Kerkez the top target
Indeed, Chelsea have been so impressed with Kerkez that he has now surged to the top of their left-back shortlist. At least that is according to GIVEMESPORT, which claims that the Blues are now looking at the 20-year-old as a 'priority target.'
Kerkez is keen on the move, but Bournemouth will demand big money, which means that a deal, if it is to materialise, will only happen later on in the summer window.

Chelsea's interest is thought to be the most advanced, but Man Utd have also been keeping an eye on the left-back as Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia endured a similarly unfortunate season as their London counterparts. Man Utd, too, are looking for a young player for their defence, with Kerkez also considered one of the top options by the Red Devils.
