CONFIRMED: The Olise demand that blocked Chelsea move
Chelsea are making significant moves to bolster their attacking options despite missing out on Michael Olise, FootballTransfers has been told.
Barcelona's youngster Pau Guiu and Lille's prolific forward Jonathan David are major targets for the Blues, and in addition, Chelsea are in the market for a right winger, following their unsuccessful move for the Palace star.
Chelsea's quest for a right winger continues to be a priority, especially after missing out on Olise. They have been suggestions that the club will look to bolster the left-side of their front-line but we understand that a right-winger remains to be the area in which they wish to boost.

Sources close to the situation revealed that Olise's wage demands, around £220,000 per week, were a significant stumbling block.
While Chelsea had the financial capability to meet these demands, they were unwilling to disrupt their wage structure for Olise, who has since chosen to leave for Bayern Munich.
We are told that the winger's desire to be the main star at Chelsea did not align with the club's vision, which emphasised team cohesion and multiple attacking options.

Chelsea are also interested in Guiu, Barcelona's emerging star, as the West London side continues to invest in young, promising talent for the future. The youngster has a release clause worth €6 million and is eager to join up at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign winger Olise.
The Bundesliga giants will pay €60 million including add-ons to secure the 22-year-old's move to Germany. The side beat the likes of Bayern, Chelsea, and Newcastle to the attacker.
The former Reading forward is expected to sign a contract with Bayern until 2029.
Olise joined Palace in 2021 from the club and, despite an injury-hit season, managed to score 10 goals and provide six assists in 19 appearances last year.
