But now Mourinho wants to snap up the veteran and bring him to Turkey. Chelsea are currently demanding a fee of £38million for the striker and is looking for a permanent transfer, hoping not to see the player go out on loan for third consecutive occasion.

Fenerbahce are tight on funds and their biggest-ever transfer was winger Cengiz Under who arrived for £12m.

It’s thought. therefore, that they would struggle to sign Lukaku and afford a deal with Chelsea, even if Mourinho pushes to be reignited with his former player.
