Michael Olise is the only one of Crystal Palace's in-demand stars with a release clause, according to a report.

The Eagles enjoyed a spectacular end to the campaign under Oliver Glasner and this saw several of their players rewarded with call-ups to Euro 2024. In fact, Crystal Palace are the side with the most players in the England squad at four.

Marc Guehi has thus far been the standout performer in what has been a disappointing Three Lions campaign, while Eberechi Eze is yet to be given a chance to start. Adam Wharton hasn't been seen at all despite being the profile of midfielder Gareth Southgate's side are crying out for.

The most in-demand of Palace's players, however, is Frenchman Michael Olise. Chelsea, Man Utd and, as revealed by FootballTransfers, Liverpool had been battling for his signature, but the 22-year-old has now made the shock decision to join Bayern Munich.

Olise the only star with release clause

According to Sky Sports, Olise is the only one of the above-mentioned stars who has a release clause. It is not yet clear how much Bayern will have to pay for him as FootballTransfers understands that his clause is actually higher than the €70m widely reported.

It was previously rumoured that Eze, too, has an exit clause, but this is not the case, as per the report, and this tallies with the information collected by FootballTransfers. On June 1, we revealed that Eze does not have a formal release clause, but that there is an agreement for Eze to be allowed to depart if a club offers €70m for him.

Guehi, who has been linked with Arsenal and Man Utd like Eze, also does not have a release clause and neither does Wharton. This summer, Palace are under no pressure to sell them and Oliver Glasner has been trying his hardest to convince Eze to stay.
