Euro 2024: What is the value of England's squad?
England head into Euro 2024 with the most valuable squads at the tournament, boasting a combined Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €1.3 billion.
The competition in Germany is set to pit the crème de la crème of European football against each other.
England arrive at Euro 2024 as one of the favourites to win the European Championship, with Gareth Southgate having an eminently successful squad at his disposal.
The Three Lions' roster is packed with elite talent, mostly hailing from the Premier League, and Southgate could even afford to snub high-profile players such as Jack Grealish, James Maddison and Marcus Rashford.

England's most valuable player
In terms of individual players, England's MVP is Jude Bellingham, one of just two stars currently plying their trade outside of the Premier League.
The 20-year-old Real Madrid superstar boasts an ETV of €142.1 million, thus making him England's most valuable player and, obviously, their most valuable midfielder.
Additionally, Bellingham is also the world's second-most valuable player, only behind Kylian Mbappe, whose ETV skyrocketed after penning a five-year deal with Real Madrid to become the wonderkid's teammate.

England's player values
Now let's look at the departments of the England team and the individual player values.
Out of the three goalkeepers, Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford comes out on top with an ETV of 34.3m. The ETV nicely reflects the Three Lions' goalkeeper hierarchy, with backup Aaron Ramsdale in second and third-choice Dean Henderson in third.
England's most valuable defender is, somewhat surprisingly, Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa with an ETV of €37.9, closely followed by Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi, who boasts an ETV of €36m.
As mentioned above, Jude Bellingham is England's most valuable midfielder with an ETV of €142.1m. Declan Rice clocks in at second but is still some way short of his compatriot. The Arsenal star has an ETV of €81.8m.
The attack is where the Three Lions really shine, with Phil Foden, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka all boasting an ETV in excess of €100m. Man City star and Premier League Player of the Season Foden is the top dog in this department with an ETV of €119.7.
