Romano reveals Chelsea interest in €100m-rated star who wants move
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea retain an interest in Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is pushing to leave Serie A this summer.
Quotes from the father and agent of Kvaratskhelia have shocked Napoli and prompted them to release a statement indicating that he is not up for sale.
Nevertheless, there is the prospect of fireworks in this case, with PSG pushing to sign the 23-year-old, who is under contract until 2027.

Interest is retained by Premier League sides, though. Both Manchester City and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the player previously, yet Romano has dropped a bombshell that suggests Chelsea have also been extensively monitoring the exciting winger.
“In the last year, there has been interest from Premier League clubs. Several have sent their scouts to follow Kvaratskhelia this year. For example, Chelsea have watched him many times but they are mentioning Champions League football, so let’s see. Other Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the situation,” Romano told his YouTube channel.
Although Chelsea have a squad packed with wingers, they have been linked with several wide attackers already this summer.
Kvaratskhelia has been valued at over €100 million by Napoli, who released an official statement indicating that he is going nowhere.

PSG out in front for Kvaratskhelia
Restricted for financial reasons, though, the Blues find that it is PSG who continue to lead the race for the Georgia international star.
“PSG have always been, in recent weeks and months, the strongest team in showing interest. They’ve had more than one contact with the agent. He’s not the only player but for sure, he’s on their shortlist.
“The position is very clear: the interest is there but it’s important to understand what Napoli want to do. And in the last month, Napoli have been super strong, especially the president himself. He always told the agents that his intention is to keep Kvaratskhelia and offer him a new contract, which is already on the table.
“But the position of the player, via his agent and father, is to leave now.”
