Barcelona offered Sancho as Man Utd attempt to move on out-of-favour winger
Barcelona have been offered the chance to buy Jadon Sancho after Manchester United decided to keep Erik ten Hag.
The winger was banished from the first-team last season and subsequently went on loan to Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.
The former England international is now due back at Old Trafford, where he is still under contract until 2026.

But Sport reports that Sancho is being offered to Barcelona after Dortmund told the club that they cannot afford him, while there is no chance of rekindling his relationship with Ten Hag.
It’s thought that the club want to sell Sancho outright and have set a €60m asking price for him.
But given that Barcelona are unwilling to pay a fee given their lack of funds in the window, it means that another loan deal will have to be considered.
Sancho enjoyed a relatively good spell at Dortmund last season. However, his valuation still stands at a lowly €39 million, according to FootballTransfers Expected Transfer Value algorithm (ETV), compared to its €108.7m peak.
Do Barcelona like Sancho?
It’s not the first time that Barcelona has been linked to Sancho - Man Utd, reportedly having talks with the La Liga giants two months ago, reports Goal.
But Barcelona opted against the move after being informed of the club’s valuation. Furthermore, it’s thought that Dortmund and Juventus have also cooled their interest in Sancho due to his price tag.
With Hansi Flick now at the helm following an underwhelming season under Xavi, the Blaugrana are aiming to strengthen their attack by signing a winger. They have been linked with potential moves for Luis Diaz or Nico Williams - but they must sell Raphinha first to be able to afford any such move.
Sancho becomes available on loan, Barcelona might consider a move for him, as Flick is reportedly a fan of the 24-year-old.
