Man Utd get unexpected Sancho boost as transfer domino starts
A transfer domino involving Borussia Dortmund and Juventus could aid Manchester United in their hopes of selling Jadon Sancho, according to Italian media.
The Red Devils winger fell out with Erik ten Hag last summer and was sent back to his former club Borussia Dortmund on loan in January. Regarded as an €85 million flop signing by Man Utd, Sancho managed to revive his career at his old stomping ground, reaching a Champions League final and putting in some impressive performances along the way.
Borussia Dortmund are naturally keen to keep the 24-year-old around, while Man Utd are hoping to sell him this summer. It seems to be a match made in heaven, only that there is the issue of his price tag. Man Utd want to recoup at the very least half of their original outlay and Borussia Dortmund can't or don't want to pay that much.

In recent weeks, talk of Sancho staying in Germany has gone quiet. The only way for Dortmund to keep him would have been via another loan, but Man Utd want to sell. Now, however, it seems that we may not yet have heard the last of Sancho and the Black and the Yellow.
Dortmund to sell Adeyemi
One of the players Borussia Dortmund are keen to sell this summer is Karim Adeyemi. The German has flattered to deceive since joining from RB Salzburg and the Champions League finalists are looking to offload him.
FootballTransfers previously explained how he could help them land Sancho and this has now been echoed by Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that Juventus are interested in Adeyemi.
New Bianconeri boss Thiago Motta is keen to change Juventus' system and will play with proper wingers next season, which is a departure from his predecessor Max Allegri. As a result, wingers will need to be signed and it is claimed that Motta has asked for at least two to be added, with Adeyemi one of the top targets.

The 22-year-old is expected to cost €30 million, which would be very important money for Borussia Dortmund. Indeed, it is asserted that these additional funds could be enough to convince the Black and Yellow to launch a transfer offensive for Sancho.
Juventus, themselves, have been linked with Sancho, but a move appears unlikely. Fellow Man Utd outcast Mason Greenwood has also been associated with the Bianconeri, but he is currently in talks with Marseille.
As such, Adeyemi could be the Old Lady's best option and they could even offer up highly-rated young defender Dean Huijsen to sweeten the deal for Dortmund, with BVB interested in the Spanish youngster.
