Man Utd Transfer News Today: ten Hag decision OFFICIAL, Joao Neves plan REVEALED, WONDERKID out
After weeks of speculation, Man Utd have FINALLY made a decision on who their manager will be next season.
On Tuesday night the news finally leaked out of Old Trafford that Erik ten Hag WILL get another season at the helm despite rampant speculation that INEOS would end his two-year spell in charge.

It appears that FA Cup final win over neighbours Man City at Wembley last month may have saved the Dutchman, ending a miserable season on something of a high.
In recent weeks the likes of Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino and Gareth Southgate have all been linked with ten Hag's job.
But just two days after Tuchel confirmed he will not seek a club post this summer, the news is official that ten Hag will stay.
Contract talks are now expected to start on a new deal for the Dutchman as the Red Devils eye much-needed stability at the top of the club.
Joao Neves plan REVEALED as Man Utd eye Portuguese star
Man Utd are desperate to sign Portuguese prodigy Joao Neves this summer, but the saga is set to run and run.
The brilliant 19-year-old midfielder has become one of Europe's hottest transfer properties in the past couple of seasons - notably as he helped Benfica become champions of Portugal in 2022-23.
The price for Neves will not be cheap - the young star has a release clause of €120m in his current Lisbon deal while sources suggest Benfica might be willing to do business at €100m.
We reported last week Joao Neves, an offer that was predictably and swiftly rebuffed by Benfica.
Now there is further frustration for Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his football operations department, with Benfica deciding to play the long game.
According to respected local outlet Record, the club's president Rui Costa has made a strategic decision to shut down any talks or negotiations regarding Joao Neves or his Benfica team-mate Antonio Silva.
Costa's reasoning is that the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament will show Neves in a good light and only push his potential price even further. Maybe then he believes Benfica will actually get that €120m release clause in full.
Fabrizio Romano reveals Benjamin Sesko decision timeline
Fabrizio Romano insists that Benjamin Sesko will make a final decision on his future before the end of the month, perhaps even in the next few days.
The RB Leipzig striker has been the talk of the town for several weeks now. After a red-hot second half of the season, the towering but rapid striker is arguably Europe's most in-demand attacking player right now.
Courted by Premier League giants Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea, Sesko essentially has the ability to personally pick his next destination. The 21-year-old has a €65 million release clause, so clubs can bypass negotiations with Leipzig.
Mourinho wants Mason Greenwood but Barca set to enter race
Jose Mourinho is ready to save Mason Greenwood from his Manchester United exile by signing the striker for Fenerbahce – but the former Real Madrid boss faces competition from his old rivals Barcelona.
Greenwood continues to find himself out of the picture at Old Trafford, but the once-capped England international is the subject of serious transfer interest from several parties after a successful season on loan at Getafe.
With a year left on his contract at Old Trafford, the Red Devils find themselves in the position of being eager to sell the 22-year-old this summer, and the indications are that there has been plenty of interest.
Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Juventus have all been linked with a transfer for Greenwood, but now The Sun indicates that Mourinho is ready to help his former club out by making a move for the forward.
The report claims an unnamed source said: “Fenerbahce are interested in Mason. They know he is a quality player and believe that having Mourinho as manager could be an attractive proposition for him.”
Man Utd WONDERKID leaves Old Trafford for FREE
Man Utd wonderkid Omari Forson has left Old Trafford, and he's done so for FREE in a move which will shock Red Devils fans.
The 19-year-old midfielder broke into the first-team squad last season but that still wasn't enough to guarantee him a long-term future in M16.
Instead, Forson is taking his talents to Italy and Serie A according to ace transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.
Romano confirmed overnight that Forson is joining Monza on a free transfer with a contract through to 2028.
Olise UPDATE as Chelsea lead race for Man Utd target
Chelsea are further ahead in the race for Michael Olise, who is also liked by Manchester United.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that both teams are hoping to sign the Crystal Palace winger but it’s the Blues that are currently edging out the Red Devils.
Olise turned down the chance to join Chelsea last summer and instead signed a fresh deal with Palace. But the club are back in the hunt for his signature, while Man Utd are looking at other options.
Romano said via his YouTube channel: “As it stands, Chelsea are further in the race for Michael Olise. Man Utd are still interested though, and will look to do a deal once the manager situation is concluded”.
FootballTransfers revealed that Man Utd are among the clubs looking at Olise and that is a boyhood supporter of the Red Devils.
Sancho NIGHTMARE for Man Utd as Dortmund deal OFF
Borussia Dortmund will not sign Man Utd flop Jadon Sancho permanently this summer, according to German media.
The Man Utd outcast is once again on the market. Sancho has returned to Old Trafford after a mostly successful six-month loan stint back at Dortmund and the Red Devils are now looking to offload him permanently.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Man Utd will try to sell Sancho this summer regardless of who is their manager, while FootballTransfers understands that Sancho would be open to lining up for the Red Devils again in the event of Erik ten Hag leaving.
No decision on that front has as yet materialised, however, and Man Utd have set a price of €47 million (£40m) for the former England international. Borussia Dortmund are keen to keep him around and the 24-year-old is willing to remain in Germany, but a second return to the club now appears highly unlikely.
At least that is according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg. Previously, it had been thought that BVB might be able to muster the resources for a permanent Sancho signing after reaching the Champions League final and in case of shifting some players to raise funds, but at this stage, a transfer seems impossible.
