Man Utd bring back legend

Man Utd are set to bring in former player and club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy back to Old Trafford.

The Dutchman is reported by Fabrizio Romano to become a member of Ten Hag's coaching team. Van Nistelrooy has previously worked as head coach of PSV, while he was also linked with the managerial vacancy at Burnley.

Furthermore, Rene Hake is set to join both. The coach is currently the boss of Eredivisie club Go Ahead Eagles.

Sancho Transfer domino

A transfer domino involving Borussia Dortmund and Juventus could see Man Utd finally sell Jadon Sancho.

The former England international had a public fallout with Ten Hag last summer and was sent on loan to Dortmund, his former club, where he spent six months. Dortmund were hoping to keep the player in Germany but they are unable to make a permanent move owing to costs.

The Red Devils want to recoup at the very least half of their original outlay for the 24-year-old and would rather not let the player leave on loan again.

FootballTransfers previously explained how he could help them land Sancho and this has now been echoed by Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that Juventus are interested in Adeyemi.

New Bianconeri boss Thiago Motta is keen to change Juventus' system and will play with proper wingers next season, which is a departure from his predecessor Max Allegri. As a result, wingers will need to be signed and it is claimed that Motta has asked for at least two to be added, with Adeyemi one of the top targets.

Man eye Antony upgrade

Manchester United are interested in Baris Alper Yilmaz, according to a report.

The Turkey star is coming off an impressive season with Super Lig champions Galatasaray, recording seven goals and notching 12 assists. This form has also seen him rewarded with a starring role at Euro 2024.

Yilmaz has thus far been everpresent for his country as they charged into the knockout stages with a 2-1 victory over Czechia. A fast and strong right-winger, Yilmaz has appeared on the radar of some big hitters in recent months.

According to CaughtOffside, the Red Devils are keeping an extra close eye on Yilmaz's performances at Euro 2024. The outlet reports that the Galatasaray star could be had for just €25 million this summer, which tallies with his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €17.7m.
