Bayern land Michael Olise coup after shock Chelsea decision - Ornstein
Bayern Munich are expected to sign Michael Olise, according to David Ornstein.
The Crystal Palace winger has made a decision on his future. According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, the Premier League's most in-demand player has decided to make a shock move to the Bundesliga.
This comes after the surprising news by Ornstein that Chelsea had withdrawn from the race to sign Olise due to the cost involved in the deal. Earlier today, FootballTransfers revealed that Olise's release clause is likely higher than the €70 million widely reported and Chelsea felt that the package would have been beyond their means.

The Blues want to be smarter about their transfer business and opted against signing Olise. Just a few days ago, it was reported that Man Utd had also decided against triggering the player's release clause.
Now, Olise has decided to leave the Premier League.
Olise to join Bayern
As revealed by the above-mentioned report, Olise has picked Bayern Munich as his next club. The Bavarians have been engaged in talks with Crystal Palace and the player, though few would have expected them to come out on top in the race to sign him when their name first cropped up last week.
Nothing appears to have been agreed between the clubs just yet, but Olise has given the green light to a transfer and now Bayern are expected to trigger his termination clause.
