Arsenal Transfer News Today: Zubimendi REJECTION, Kadioglu FIGHT, Cozier-Duberry joins Brighton
Martin Zubimendi has revealed that he will remain at Real Sociedad this summer, despite heavy interest from Arsenal.
The Spain international, who is currently at Euro 2024, has three years left on his Real Sociedad contract and he is eager to stay with the club next season.
Zubimendi told Futbol Espana (via Sportskeeda): “Where am I going to play next season? I’m going to be at Real Sociedad. I have a contract with Real Sociedad, and that’s where I’m most comfortable.”

The 25-year-old was previously touted to replace Thomas Partey at Arsenal, but the Gunners will be forced to pursue alternatives following his latest comments.
In addition, Douglas Luiz has already joined Juventus, meaning Arsenal will not land either of their two priority midfield targets this summer.

Brighton enter Ferdi Kadioglu race
Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in signing Arsenal target Ferdi Kadioglu, according to reports in Turkey.
FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal sent scouts to watch the left-back in action at Euro 2024, but the Gunners are set to face significant competition from Fabian Hurzeler’s side.
According to Yagız Sabuncuoglu, Brighton are now keen on the Turkey international as they look to bolster their squad this summer.
Arsenal want Watford star
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Watford winger Yaser Asprilla as they search for a back-up option to Bukayo Saka.
The 20-year-old is currently competing at the 2024 Copa America with Colombia, and he could be set for a big-money summer move.
According to the print edition of The Mirror (as per GiveMeSport), Arsenal are interested in rivalling Everton for Asprilla’s signature as they look to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Asprilla has spent the past two years in England, following a €3 million move from Envigado to Watford in 2022.
Amario Cozier-Duberry joins Brighton
Amario Cozier-Duberry has completed a free transfer move to Brighton following his Arsenal exit at the start of July.
The 19-year-old has frequently been compared to the aforementioned Saka, but he left the Gunners upon the expiration of his contract and has officially joined the Seagulls on a four-year deal.
Cozier-Duberry will compete with Solly March, Simon Adingra, Kaoru Mitoma and Facundo Buonanotte for a starting place at the AMEX Stadium.

Desire Doue blow
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made Arsenal target Desire Doue a “top priority” as they look to fend off multiple Premier League clubs in the race to sign the Stade Rennais teenager.
Both London clubs have initiated contact with Rennes and are eager to finalise a deal by next week, according to The Sun.
Doue scored four goals and provided six assists in 42 appearances last season.
