Chelsea target Man Utd flop as DREAM Gallagher replacement
Chelsea will target Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira if Conor Gallagher leaves the club this summer, according to reports in Brazil.
Gallagher, 24, has just one year left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge and he is expected to depart before the 2024 summer transfer window ends.
Atletico Madrid are leading the race for his signature as things stand, while Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have both been linked over the past few months.

However, Ange Postecoglou’s side now appear unlikely to pursue Gallagher this summer, meanwhile Villa have already purchased Ross Barkley and Enzo Barrenechea, with Amadou Onana also set to arrive from Everton.
As a result, a move to Atletico appears to be Gallagher’s only legitimate option right now, although he could end up extending his stay in west London.
Multiple reports have stated that Chelsea are looking to offload Gallagher in order to generate ‘pure profit’ and the Blues have now identified their first-choice target if the England international departs.

Chelsea want Andreas Pereira
According to Brazilian outlet Globo, Chelsea are hoping to sign Fulham midfielder Pereira as Gallagher’s replacement.
The Stamford Bridge outfit are reportedly in contact with his agent Kia Joorabchian, who has confirmed Chelsea’s interest in his client.
Chelsea are prepared to pay up to €40 million for Pereira, but a move will only happen if Gallagher is sold.
The Brazil midfielder has an agreement to leave Fulham this summer, as per Globo, following a two-year stint with Marco SiIva’s side.
He joined the club after a failed spell at Manchester United - during which time he only made 24 Premier League starts - and he has excelled since his move to Craven Cottage.
Pereira was recalled by the Brazilian national team earlier this year and he made three appearances for his nation at the 2024 Copa America.
