Gabriel Mec to Chelsea?
Chelsea have already signed four Brazilian youngsters since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over ownership in 2022 - Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, Angelo Gabriel and Estevao Willian - and Mec could become the latest.
The Gremio teenager has been frequently compared to Neymar, but he is yet to make his mark in senior football.

Mec could replace Rio Ngumoha in Chelsea’s academy following the Englishman’s departure upon the expiration of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with signing Ngumoha and they are on the verge of finalising a deal for the talented 16-year-old.
Mec could become Chelsea’s sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo.
In addition, Boca Juniors centre-back Aaron Anselmino and Atlanta United left-back Caleb Wiley are also expected to join Chelsea before the 2024 summer transfer window slams shut at the end of August.
