OFFICIAL: Chelsea announce signing of Barcelona wonderkid Marc Guiu
Chelsea have officially completed the signing of Barcelona forward Marc Guiu after triggering his €6 million release clause.
The 18-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with the option of a further 12 months.
The Spaniard will join the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Deivid Washington as striker options available to Enzo Maresca next season.

Guiu made seven first-team appearances during his time at Barcelona, scoring twice, including on his senior debut.
He is the latest teenager to join Chelsea since Todd Boehly became owner in 2022, with Omari Kellyman, Carney Chukwuemeka and Romeo Lavia among the others. In addition, both Kendry Paez and Estevao will join the club when they turn 18 in 2025.
Reports suggest that Guiu has attracted interest from several Spanish clubs, who are interested in signing him on loan, but it remains to be seen if he is given a role in Chelsea’s first-team next season.

He made his Spain U19 debut in March, having netted 10 goals in 17 appearances for his country’s U17 side.
In addition to his two strikes for Barcelona’s senior team, Guiu also bagged seven goals and four assists in 20 games for Barcelona Atletic last campaign.
What has Marc Guiu said?
Guiu told the official Chelsea website: “It's an immense joy to sign for Chelsea and I struggled to sleep ahead of the journey here because I was so excited.
“Ever since I was small, it was my dream to play in the Premier League.
“Now I have the opportunity to come here to Chelsea and I will work my hardest to be successful for the club."
