Jhon Duran accepts West Ham terms
Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran has reportedly agreed to join West Ham United, despite long-standing interest from Chelsea.
The Colombian has been heavily linked with a Stamford Bridge switch for several months, but talk of a move to west London has died down in recent weeks amid Chelsea’s pursuit of Samu Omorodion.
The Blues now look set to miss out on Duran, with Fabrizio Romano posting on X: “West Ham have already submitted more than one bid for Jhon Durán to Aston Villa.
“Understand last proposal currently worth around £35m plus 10% sell-on clause.
“Negotiations underway, personal terms already agreed with Durán.”
Chelsea desperate to sell three stars
Chelsea are reportedly “highly motivated” to sell Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Malang Sarr as they undergo a summer revamp.
The Blues have already offloaded Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson, while Thiago Silva and Hakim Ziyech have departed the club on free transfers following the expiration of their contracts.
However, Chelsea remain determined to further finetune Enzo Maresca’s first-team squad.
According to The Athletic, the west London club are desperate to offload the aforementioned Lukaku, Kepa and Sarr.
Armando Broja, Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah may also be sold, while Conor Gallagher could depart amid interest from Atletico Madrid.
Crysencio Summerville won’t push to leave Leeds
Chelsea target Crysencio Summerville will not push to leave Leeds United this summer, despite heavy links to multiple top clubs.
The Dutch winger won the Championship Player of the Year award last season and his form has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, according to Ben Jacobs, Summerville would be 'perfectly content' with staying at Leeds for another season.
Pape Diong joins Strasbourg
Senegal youth international Pape Diong has joined BlueCo-owned Strasbourg.
The midfielder trained with Chelsea earlier this year and toured the club’s facilities, but has instead joined their sister club Strasbourg directly.
He has signed a contract that runs until 2029 and could eventually join Chelsea if the Blues are impressed by his performances at Strasbourg.
