Napoli are in ongoing talks with Chelsea regarding a move for Romelu Lukaku, while Victor Osimhen’s name is also involved in discussions.

It comes after news that PSG have pulled out of the race for Osimhen, as revealed by FootballTransfers.
Victor Osimhen’s agent hits back
Despite this, Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has hit out at “fake news” being spread about his client's future.
He wrote on X: “I read about imaginative exchanges with Victor sent here and there as if he were a package to be delivered quickly.

“This package, however, is the top scorer of the third scudetto in Napoli's history. Respect and stop with fake news!”
Calenda’s comments seemingly don’t deny the possibility of Osimhen joining Chelsea, they simply state that the Nigerian won’t be involved in an exchange with Lukaku.
Conor Gallagher latest
Chelsea are in now 'direct talks' with Atletico Madrid over the sale of Conor Gallagher, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues want around €40 million for the England international, but Diego Simeone’s side are yet to lodge an offer of that value.
Despite this, Atleti are accelerating their pursuit of Gallagher, who is their dream midfield target.
Maximilian Beier offer
Chelsea have submitted a “concrete” offer for Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier, according to Sky Germany.
The Blues are interested in signing a new striker and Beier is admired after netting 16 times in the Bundesliga last season.
Aston Villa are also interested and have reportedly lodged an offer too. Beier is expected to make a decision on his future within the next two weeks.
Aaron Anselmino medical
Aaron Anselmino has completed his medical with Chelsea ahead of an €18.5m move from Boca Juniors, according to Sky Sports.
The defender will remain with the Argentine giants until December or January, when he will link up with his new Blues team-mates.
Enzo Fernandez apologises
As per BBC Sport’s Nizaar Kinsella, Enzo Fernandez has apologised in person to the French players in Chelsea’s squad after he sung a racist and discriminatory chant in a video posted on his Instagram account.
He was accused of ‘uninhibited racism’ by Blues defender Wesley Fofana and the Argentine has offered to donate money to an anti-discrimination charity, which will be matched by Chelsea.
The club matter is now internally considered closed, while Reece James and Axel Disasi were reportedly important figures in resolving the conflict amongst the Chelsea squad.
