Chelsea and Manchester City have both registered interest in Olmo previously, although a move to Stamford Bridge or the Etihad Stadium now seems unlikely.

The Spain international scored four goals and provided five assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances last season, and he has been linked with numerous top European clubs over the past few months.

Olmo has three years left on his current Leipzig deal after signing a contract extension last June.

Bayern have already signed Crystal Palace star Michael Olise so far this summer, while Man Utd have Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount as options in the No.10 position. However, both clubs are heavily interested in pursuing a deal for Olmo.

The former Barcelona academy graduate has a €60 million release clause included in his Leipzig contract, although this is only active until 20 July.

As a result, interest is expected to ramp up following the conclusion of Euro 2024.

Olmo has spent the past four-and-a-half years with RB Leipzig, following a €29m move from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2020. The Spaniard has 29 goals and 34 assists in 148 appearances for the Bundesliga club.

Dani Olmo at Euro 2024

In addition to his form with Leipzig, Olmo has shone at Euro 2024 so far.

He was initially a back-up option to Pedri, but he starred off the bench against Germany and played a key role as Spain beat France to reach the final.

The 26-year-old has three goals and two assists during the tournament and is the leading contender to win the Golden Boot award on Sunday.
