Van de Beek leaves Man Utd heartfelt message after Girona switch
Donny van de Beek has left Manchester United fans an emotional message following his move to Girona.
The Dutchman has moved to the LaLiga club in a deal worth an initial €500,000, but potential add-ons could see that rise to around €6m.
Manchester City's sister club defied the odds last campaign and managed to secure a spot in the Champions League.

On Tuesday, Uefa issued a statement saying that Girona have been granted permission to play in the same competition as the Premier League champions, meaning both can feature in the Champions League.
Van de Beek in 2020 from Ajax in a deal worth up to £40million but he failed to make the grade at Old Trafford and had loans at Everton and Frankfurt, respectively.
Erik ten Hag managed the 27-year-old at Ajax, but Van de Beek managed just 12 appearances under his compatriot at Man Utd, so the player was sent on loans away as they could not seal a permanent move for him.

Now he's left the club, Van de Beek has left Man Utd fans a heartfelt message.
He wrote on Instagram: "Dear Manchester United family. Today is a memorable day as my adventure at the club comes to an end. I want to thank you all for your support throughout the years. From the moment we arrived at Manchester United, we felt extremely welcome and we are grateful for that.
"Thank you to everyone at the club for making us feel at home. A special thanks to all the fans that made these years unforgettable.
"Besides the football, the birth of our two children here ensures that Manchester will always have a special place in our hearts. Good luck to everybody, we'll meet again."
