Transfer listed Man Utd flop REFUSES to be sold
Harry Maguire is refusing to leave Manchester United this summer and is determined to fight for his place next season.
That is according to the Daily Star, who report that Maguire has begun pre-season training with United in an attempt to be at the peak of his form when the new season starts next month.
United had been looking to sell Maguire this summer in order to help fund the signing of new centre backs.

The club are currently working on three transfers in this position, Bayern Munich’s Matthijs De Ligt, Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Lille’s Leny Yoro.
But Maguire has made it clear he will not be leaving and will refuse all offers.
This is a blow to United, who have been keen to get Maguire off their books due to the fact his contract expires in 2025.

WIth Maguire’s form over the past three years having been so poor, United have no intention to renew his contract and want to earn a transfer fee before his deal expires.
Maguire has been offered to a number of clubs, including Italian giants AC Milan, who are on the lookout for a new central defender but would prefer to sign Strahinja Pavlovic of RB Salzburg.
Maguire at Man Utd
Maguire joined from Leicester for a world-record fee for a defender of around €87 million in 2019.
After a decent first two seasons at the club, Maguire has endured three miserable past years for Man Utd, ever since Euro 2020.
After an error-prone 2021-22 season, he finally lost his place in the first team during the 2022-23 campaign as manager Erik ten Hag preferred Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as his centre back pairing.
Maguire also started the 2023-24 season down the pecking order but an injury crisis saw him return to the fold.
His form improved a touch but United still endured a disastrous season in the Premier League and Champions League, despite winning the FA Cup.
