Man Utd talks to unlock Mazraoui transfer 'progressing'
Manchester United are making good progress in trying to unlock the Noussair Mazraoui situation, according to various reports.
The Red Devils are looking to sign a new right-back and have identified Bayern Munich man Mazraoui for the position. Despite the Morrocan having failed to have much of an impact in two seasons at the Allianz Arena, Man Utd are keen on signing him.
Mazraoui, like fellow target Matthijs de Ligt, previously featured under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, though the Dutch coach recently insisted that he is not responsible for Man Utd's interest in all of these former players of his.

Whatever the case, Man Utd have reportedly reached a 'total agreement' with Mazraoui, but they have as yet been unable to finalise the transfer because of the simple reason that they have neither the money nor really the squad space for it.
To unlock the situation, Man Utd are trying to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and they are making progress in their endeavours.
First Mazraoui domino could soon fall
According to Ben Jacobs, talks between Man Utd and West Ham over Wan-Bissaka are progressing, though there is still a minor gap in valuation. The journalist reports that the Red Devils want at least €18m - roughly what they will have to pay for Mazraoui, while West Ham are not yet prepared to go quite as high.
The Congo DR international is out of contract next summer, so Man Utd are looking to cash in on him while they still can. There have also been tentative discussions with Inter over a potential swap deal with Denzel Dumfries, according to The Athletic. It has been claimed that Wan-Bissaka would prefer Inter over West Ham, though talks with the Italians appear nowhere near as advanced.

As for Mazraoui, Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg is reporting that Man Utd and Bayern have been in 'direct and positive talks' about the Moroccan in recent days. He insists that "once Wan-Bissaka moves to West Ham, nothing will stand in the way of Mazraoui's transfer to the Red Devils."
