EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd and Arsenal send scouts to watch over Turkey gem
Arsenal and Manchester United have sent scouts to watch over Turkey's promising left-back Ferdi Kadioglu, FootballTransfers has been told.
According to our sources, scouts from both clubs were in attendance at the Euro 2024 group stage decider between Turkey and the Czech Republic, specifically to observe Kadioglu's performance.
Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag is keen to bring in a left-back who can secure the position and rotate with a hopefully fully fit Luke Shaw, who struggled with injuries throughout last season and during England’s campaign in Germany.

Arsenal face a similar dilemma, as injury concerns with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko have made the Gunners cautious of encountering the same issues next season.
The 24-year-old has been a standout player for Fenerbahce this season earning praise across Europe for his defensive and attacking abilities.
He has become one of Fenerbahce’s best players in recent years and enjoyed a fruitful 2023/24 season, contributing towards eight goals in 51 matches as his side managed to secure a runners-up spot in the Super Lig.

Who is Ferdi Kadioglu?
Kadioglu signed for Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce under Phillip Cocu in 2018 from Dutch side NEC for €1.4m.
After playing mostly in the Under-21s, the versatile player finally broke into the first team, where he has played across six seasons.
FootballTransfers’ Estimated Transfer Value algorithm (ETV) ranks Kadioglu at €17m while he have him as 7th in Most Valuable Players playing in Super Lig.
Kadioglu is contracted until June 2026 and it's not clear at this point how much Fenerbahce will ask for if they were to sell.
