AS states that Erik ten Hag's side are ready to rival Manchester City and Liverpool, who also have shown strong interest in the RB Leipzig player.

Now Man Utd have secured the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, it's thought they are eager to bring in more attackers.

The publication states that Olmo fits perfectly into INEOS' vision as a star player who can nurture young talents like Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, and Rasmus Hojlund.

Olmo is highly regarded not only in England but also in Germany and Spain. Bayern Munich, under new head coach Vincent Kompany, have shown interest in him, having faced him several times while he was at Leipzig.

However, after significant spending on players like Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha, the German club are now focusing on bringing in a centre-back before deciding between Olmo and Xavi Simons.

Man Utd interest in Olmo

It comes after FootballTransfers' exclusive from earlier this month, which stated that Man Utd and Bayern are both interested in signing the RB Leipzig star.

We have been informed that Man Utd and Bayern are both interested in purchasing Olmo, while the Red Devils have even held talks as they pursue a big-money move.

Chelsea and Manchester City have registered interest in Olmo previously, although a move to Stamford Bridge or the Etihad Stadium now seems unlikely.

The Spain international scored four goals and provided five assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances last season, and he has been linked with numerous top European clubs over the past few months.

Olmo has three years left on his current Leipzig deal after signing a contract extension last June.
