Plus, Arsenal have opened talks over a striker transfer and Man Utd received some surprising news on a midfield target. There's plenty to cover, so let's jump right in.

Chelsea to sign Felix

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Joao Felix.

Going the other way will be Conor Gallagher, who has been authorised to travel to Madrid (again).

Arsenal in Nketiah talks

Nottingham Forest have officially opened talks with Arsenal over Eddie Nketiah.

However, the Gunners' plans to offload Aaron Ramsdale have taken a hit.

Man Utd surprise

Man Utd rejected two Fulham bids for Scott McTominay, so the Cottagers will now sign Sander Berge - Man Utd's Manuel Ugarte alternative.

Progress has been made in talks with PSG over Ugarte, but a deal is not yet close.

Merino to Arsenal

Mikel Merino is close to joining Arsenal, but West Ham are now posing a minor threat.

Who will benefit and who will lose out when the Spaniard does finally arrive in north London?

Lukaku movement - but Osimhen still not close

Napoli have launched a formal bid for Romelu Lukaku.

However, Chelsea are set to reject it, which won't be conducive to their efforts of signing Victor Osimhen.

In more positive news, an exit of Osimhen is still being seen as inevitable.

Transfer news

Finally, let's finish up with some more transfer news from around the world. Saudi side Al-Ahli is pushing hard to sign Ivan Toney.

Will the likes of Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay be part of Man Utd's final Premier League squad?

And what about Chelsea? Will Raheem Sterling get in after becoming the latest player to get pushed out?

He released a statement on the matter on Sunday but was blasted for it.

His ideal next club is already known.

Speaking of being forced out, Ilkay Gundogan is set to leave Barcelona after just one season.

He isn't the only one set for a swift exit, with Vitor Roque closing in on a departure after six months.

Despite Man Utd's opening-day win over Fulham, Gary Neville believes Erik ten Hag is still at risk of getting sacked.

Lastly, Kylian Mbappe made his debut for Real Madrid on Sunday - but the megastar did not impress.
