Ajax eye goalkeeper upgrade
As mentioned, Ajax approached Arsenal with a proposal to loan Ramsdale. However, this offer has been rejected by the Gunners, who would rather sell the 26-year-old goalkeeper permanently.
It is expected that, as the end of the transfer window approaches, there will be more clarity about Ramsdale's future soon.

A permanent signing of Ramsdale by Ajax seems unlikely. Last year, the goalkeeper extended his contract until 2026 with an option for an additional year. Ramsdale therefore has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €22.3m. Last month, it was claimed that Arsenal would like to receive more than €35m in the event of a sale.
The goalkeeping position is a hot topic at Ajax, where coach Francesco Farioli has expressed his confidence in 40-year-old Remko Pasveer as first-choice goalkeeper. Rulli was sold for €4m, while Ramaj has to settle for a reserve role.
Due to recent developments at Ajax, Ramaj is now said to have set his sights on a departure, reported by reported. Genoa and several Spanish clubs are said to have the German goalkeeper on their wish list.
