Arsenal to complete €35m transfer - Ornstein
Arsenal's talks with Crystal Palace over Eddie Nketiah are expected to proceed smoothly, according to David Ornstein.
After two collapsed transfers, Nketiah appears to finally be poised to leave Arsenal. The Gunners' third-choice striker was close to Olympique Marseille and then even closer to Nottingham Forest, but he now looks set to stay in London.
After his move to Forest collapsed, Crystal Palace firmed up their long-standing interest in the 25-year-old, with FootballTransfers already revealing the Eagles' admiration for Nketiah back in December.

Initially, Palace were reluctant to make a concrete move, preferring to stay out of the race when he was in talks with Nottingham Forest. But in the wake of the deal falling through, the Selhurst Park side pounced.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the deal is expected to go through.
Arsenal to accept offer
Ornstein reports that Arsenal are expected to accept Palace's offer of around €35 million, with the Gunners set to receive €30m upfront and the rest in potential add-ons.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue between the club and Nketiah. Ornstein expects the talks to proceed smoothly and reach a satisfactory conclusion at last.

Arsenal have been open to offloading the striker due to their desire to sign Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad. Though the north London giants are in a healthy state financially, they want to ensure that they are in line with Premier League regulations by counterbalancing the Spaniard's arrival with a lucrative sale.
Palace, meanwhile, are still desperate to strengthen their side after a poor start to the campaign. Having lost the likes of Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen, coach Oliver Glasner recently hinted that one or two more players could arrive to bolster his options.
