FootballTransfers runs through the latest Arsenal football transfer news updates, including the latest on Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen and Mikel Merino.
Arsenal have re-entered the race to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Italy.

However, Italian outlet Correire dello Sport have now revealed that Arsenal are once again pushing to sign Napoli superstar Osimhen as Transfer Deadline Day edges closer.
Ademola Lookman wanted by Arsenal
Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, and could include Jakub Kiwior in a deal for the Nigeria international.
Lookman, 26, is pushing to leave Atalanta before the end of the summer transfer window and Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with a move over the past week.
However, Arsenal have now emerged as contenders to sign the former Everton winger and have already lodged their first bid for the Atalanta star.
That is according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, who has reported that Arsenal have submitted a €50 million offer for Lookman.
Atalanta are currently asking for around €70m for the Nigerian, as per Pedulla’s report, and Arsenal are now considering including Kiwior in a player-plus-cash swap deal.
Merino deal set to be finalised
Mikel Merino is on the brink of becoming a new Arsenal player, according to reports emerging from Spain.
It's thought that Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has travelled to London to seal this deal and secure a veteran centre-back and a young forward for his club, per Marca.
Merino missed yesterday’s training session with Sociedad due to back pain. But he is now "living his last moments as a Real Sociedad player, with the transfer to Arsenal nearing completion."
