Victor Osimhen to Arsenal? The state of play revealed
Chelsea have turned their attention away from Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Italy, but Arsenal remain in the running to sign the Napoli forward.
Osimhen, 25, is expected to leave Serie A this summer, however talk of a departure has stalled following news that Chelsea are pushing to sign Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.
The Blues have reportedly reached an agreement to purchase the Spain U21 international, although the deal will only happen if Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez agrees to join Atletico.

Pep Guardiola’s side have accepted an initial offer of €75 million for the Argentina international, but Atletico Madrid’s current contract proposal has not matched Alvarez’s demands.
As a result, Omorodion’s potential move to Chelsea is in doubt.
If the west London club are able to finalise a move for Omorodion, it will reduce their chances of signing Osimhen, as per Calciomercato.

The Italian outlet also notes that Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and clubs in Saudi Arabia remain in the hunt to sign Osimhen.
Mikel Arteta’s side are still monitoring Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, but Osimhen is an option too.
The Nigeria international scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 25 Serie A appearances last season, while he also bagged twice in the Champions League.
Romelu Lukaku to Napoli?
According to Calciomercato, Napoli want to finalise a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku as soon as possible.
Aston Villa are also interested in the Belgium international, but he is eager to be reunited with Antonio Conte and currently has his heart set on a summer move to Napoli.
Lukaku scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 32 Serie A appearances on loan at AS Roma last season. The 31-year-old has just two years left on his contract at Chelsea, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €36.2m.
