Barcelona meet Leipzig to CLOSE Dani Olmo deal
Barcelona will meet Leipzig on Tuesday in Germany in an attempt to close a transfer for Euro 2024 star Dani Olmo.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Tuesday will be a key day for deciding whether Olmo ends up at Barcelona.
Olmo and his agent arrived in Leipzig on Monday, followed by Barcelona transfer chief Deco.

An important meeting will take place between directors of both clubs regarding Olmo. Romano reports that Barcelona will present a new offer in the hope to reach an agreement.
Dani Olmo's well publicised €60 million release clause expired on June 20, but the Leipzig attacking midfielder is still available for sale at a similar price.
Barcelona have made Olmo their number one target for the summer transfer window after their move for Nico Williams fell through.

Williams had seemed likely to join Barcelona but according to multiple reports has decided to stay with Athletic Bilbao.
Instead, Barcelona have turned to Williams’ Spain teammate Olmo, who also has interest from the Premier League.
Olmo at Euro 2024
The RB Leipzig attacker was one of the most impressive performers at Euro 2024 and the tournament in Germany once again showed that the Spaniard is one of Europe's most underrated players.
Olmo was not slated to start for Spain and only came into the team following Pedri's injury.
He ultimately finished the Euros as joint-top scorer as Spain won the Euros with seven wins out of seven.
Olmo had already been open to a departure from Leipzig last summer, but the Red Bulls, at the time on the verge of losing several key players, managed to get him to extend his deal and stay for one more season.
This summer, Leipzig will not stand in his way and Olmo has already confirmed that his agents are working on a potential exit.
Olmo grew up in the Barcelona youth system from 2007 to 2014 before moving to Dinamo Zagreb as a 16-year-old.
He scored 34 goals in 124 games before moving to RB Leipzig in 2020.
At Leipzig he has scored 29 goals in 148 games, while he has 11 goals in 39 games for the Spain national team.
Olmo won Euro 2024 and the 2022-23 Nations League with Spain.
