Barcelona make Man Utd superstar number one winger target
Barcelona have made Marcus Rashford their number one winger target before the end of the summer transfer window.
That is according to Spanish football journalist Albert Fernandez, who reports that Barcelona plan to sign a winger before the end of the month.
The plan is to sign a big-name star for the left wing.

The priority was Nico Williams after his brilliant Euro 2024, but the wideman has decided to stay at Athletic Bilbao.
Fernandez reports that Rashford is the number one target, but that Juventus’ Federico Chiesa, Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao are also on the shortlist.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has requested a new left winger and the ideal choice is Rashford.

Barca recognise that it will be difficult to prise Rashford away from Man Utd this close to the end of the window but that will not stop them trying.
Rashford’s future at United has been increasingly called into question in recent months after an up-and-down season for the winger last term.
Rashford’s relationship with Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag has also been reported to not be perfect by some sections of the media.
As a result, the media have linked Rashford with a potential transfer away from Man Utd this summer.
These calls grew louder after Rashford was left out of England’s squad for Euro 2024.
However, Rashford was in the starting XI for Man Utd’s first game of the season as they beat Fulham 1-0 at Old Trafford on Friday.
Which winger will Barcelona sign?
The consensus is that if Barcelona do sign a winger that out of these four players, it is most likely to be Chiesa or Coman.
Chiesa has been transfer listed by Juventus and is completely frozen out of the squad in Turin. It is also understood that Chiesa would like to move to Barcelona.
Coman, meanwhile, is also available for transfer at Bayern.
Milan have made it clear that Leao is not for sale and that Barcelona would have to pay his €175 million release clause, which they cannot afford.
