'A DISGRACE' - Chelsea fans react to CRAZY Conor Gallagher transfer saga
Conor Gallagher has left Spain and is on his way back to Chelsea, with his move to Atletico Madrid now in limbo.
Chelsea are determined to sell the England international this summer and a deal was agreed for him to join Diego Simeone’s side for €42 million.
However, the deal was linked to Samu Omorodion’s move in the opposite direction. After a dispute regarding personal terms, Omorodion’s proposed transfer to Chelsea has now collapsed, leaving Gallagher in limbo.

Gallagher has already completed his medical and signed his contract at Atletico Madrid, while reports from Spain indicate he also trained with the Spanish giants last week.
However, after spending five days in a Madrid hotel, Gallagher has been told to return to London by Chelsea.
Despite racking up 50 first-team appearances under Mauricio Pochettino last season, and captaining the side on multiple occasions, Gallagher is expected to be banished to Chelsea’s U21 side until his future is resolved.

The Blues are in talks to sign Joao Felix on a permanent deal, which would resurrect Gallagher’s move to Atletico Madrid, although an agreement has not yet been reached.
Furthermore, Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto has reported that negotiations between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea regarding Gallagher have stalled.
As a result, he could face the prospect of remaining at Chelsea with no role within the first-team.
The England international, who was involved in the Three Lions’ run to the Euro 2024 final, is deemed to be unsuited to Enzo Maresca’s style of play, and Chelsea are eager to offload him in order to generate pure profit.
Trevoh Chalobah has received the same treatment as Gallagher, with Chelsea’s owners unwilling to utilise the club’s impressive academy set-up.
On social media, Blues supporters have expressed their dissatisfaction regarding Gallagher’s transfer saga.

Feel very sorry for Conor Gallagher.
After finally agreeing his move, and being confirmed by official channels, he has had it torn away from him for no fault of his own.
Appears Joao Felix was offered to Chelsea rather than being pursued - this will not be easy to complete now. pic.twitter.com/NswMZktWot— Tom Overend (@tovers98) August 13, 2024
The way we’ve treated Gallagher is nothing short of a disgrace

Really feel sorry for Conor Gallagher at this moment, not sure what’s happening with him and the last report said he was coming back and going to be training with the under 21s. pic.twitter.com/CSsRyohtJw
