Chelsea 'all set' to complete Maresca's dream transfer - Romano
Chelsea are 'all set' to complete the signing of Samu Omorodion, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Atletico Madrid wonderkid appears to be on his way to Stamford Bridge without ever actually having suited up for the LaLiga giants. Omorodion was signed last summer and loaned to Alaves where he impressed.
Now, the 20-year-old is on the verge of completing a move to Chelsea. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is 'all set.' The Blues will pay a little over €40 million to secure the striker's signature.

Omorodion is set to sign a contract until 2031 when he returns from Olympic duty with Spain. Personal terms have been agreed with a striker Chelsea have been chasing all summer.
It was previously claimed that coach Enzo Maresca 'absolutely loves' Omorodion, though the youngster initially looked determined to remain in Madrid, with Atletico having shown no desire to sell. This all changed recently.
Alvarez and Gallagher unlock deal
Atletico Madrid's successful pursuit of Julian Alvarez and positive talks over Conor Gallagher have unlocked the deal as far as Chelsea are concerned. Diego Simeone's have struck an agreement with Man City to sign Alvarez in a deal potentially worth a whopping €95m.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Atleti have agreed on the transfer of Gallagher, who will swap London for Madrid for a fee in the same ballpark as Omorodion, so it is essentially a swap deal.

In the wee hours of Monday morning, the England midfielder gave the green light to the transfer shortly before the deadline Atleti had set for his decision passed.
The Omorodion deal will be finalised once Atletico have sorted out all the details for the signing of Alvarez, which now appears to merely be a matter of time. Gallagher, meanwhile, is expected to be in Madrid already today to complete his medical.
