Chelsea wonderkid signing already in transfer limbo after ONE month
Marc Guiu has admitted that he has no idea whether he will be at Chelsea next season.
The new campaign is fast approaching, with the 2024/25 Premier League season kicking off on August 16. Many clubs remain busy in the transfer market, while their players prepare for the fresh term.
One of the most active clubs this summer, and indeed in recent years, have been Chelsea and the Blues continue to work hard on several deals. While Conor Gallagher's big-money move to Atletico Madrid seems to be only a matter of time, there are several negotiations that could yet drag on well into August.

Chelsea have already signed Omari Kellyman and Marc Guiu this summer, both of whom can play at centre-forward, while they also still have Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, who had a better debut season than many gave him credit for. Despite this, Chelsea remain in the market for a new striker.
Guiu unsure about future
The west London giants have reignited talks with Atletico Madrid over Samu Omorodion and are also still locked in negotiations with Napoli over a swap deal for Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku.
Incredibly, it has been claimed that Chelsea could yet sign both, Omorodion and Osimhen, which would potentially see Jackson move to the wings.
Regardless of what ultimately materialises, it is clear that Chelsea have not learned from the mistakes of the past two seasons. Their recruitment has been all over the place and so many players are being signed that even new arrivals are unsure about their futures.

Indeed, Guiu has now admitted as much, revealing that he is still in the dark about whether he will actually be a Chelsea player come Deadline Day. “I still don’t know if I will go on loan. I hope to stay, I’m working for it," he told the Daily Mail.
"He [Enzo Maresca] told me there was an amazing sporting project full of young talent, that he wanted me to be a part of it and that he had a lot of faith in me and my skills and capabilities...So I think I’m ready to be on the pitch. I’m just focused on the pre-season tour, doing my best and that’s what I can say."
