Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Madueke amid their pursuit of a new right winger, but the England U21 international is keen to stay at Chelsea after a promising pre-season under Enzo Maresca.

Madueke was the third-most used Chelsea player during pre-season, behind Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto, while he was the joint-top goalscorer with three strikes.

The 22-year-old also enjoyed a productive end to the 2023-24 campaign, netting three goals and providing two assists in Chelsea’s final nine Premier League games of the season.
