Raheem Sterling to Arsenal? The state of play revealed
Arsenal will not push to sign Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling this summer, despite recent reports of a possible move to north London.
Sterling, 29, has been frozen out by Enzo Maresca and is currently training away from Chelsea’s first-team squad, along with Romelu Lukaku, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah and several others.
The ex-Manchester City winger was excluded from the Blues’ matchday squad to face his former side on Sunday and Maresca has confirmed that Sterling has no future at Stamford Bridge.

Talk of a potential move to Arsenal emerged following Mikel Arteta’s comments during his press conference ahead of the Gunners’ trip to face Aston Villa this weekend.
“You have to be alert and prepared because a lot of surprises can come. We will be ready,” Arteta admitted.
“My time with Raheem was exceptional. We built a really strong relationship together. He was unbelievable at the time we were together.

“He taught me a lot as well, about individuals, how they, players think, and how we support them. He is someone I have really strong feelings about.”
Despite Arteta’s comments, Sterling will not be joining Arsenal this summer, according to Football.London.
Who will sign Raheem Sterling?
Chelsea’s decision to cast Sterling aside so close to Deadline Day is slightly surprising.
Although Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have registered their interest in the ex-England international, as per multiple reports, both clubs are currently unable to pay Sterling’s wages.
The 29-year-old is determined to stay in England, but his options are currently extremely limited.
On the continent, Juventus have been heavily linked with a move, however they are also pursuing Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and will be unable to sign both players.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are also reportedly interested, but they haven’t been able to register Dani Olmo yet, so they are unlikely to sign another new forward.
