Chelsea Transfer News Today: Felix medical DONE, Sancho SHOCK, Osimhen BOOST
All the latest Chelsea transfer news, including updates on Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho and Victor Osimhen.
The Blues have come under heavy scrutiny for their transfer business (again), but that won't slow down the signing train, with Joao Felix set to become the latest recruit of the free-spending Stamford Bridge outfit.
The Portuguese attacker is in London and has already completed his medical, according to Sky Sports. Now, the formal signing of all the necessary paperwork will take place and then the €50 million deal will be done.
This transfer will, of course, unblock Conor Gallagher's €42m move to Atletico Madrid, though the midfielder has not yet flown back to Spain. He will only travel once the Felix deal is officially sealed so as to avoid another Samu Omorodion situation.
Gallagher has already completed all the formalities for his transfer, so it should be announced shortly after his arrival in Madrid.

Fresh Jadon Sancho links
Last week, a sensational report claimed that Chelsea are considering Man Utd winger Jadon Sancho as an option. A permanent move or loan with an obligation to buy was posited.
Sancho was omitted from Man Utd's season opener against Fulham on Friday due to an 'ear infection' and talk surrounding his future has picked up again.
Now, The Athletic reports that "some at United sense Chelsea may make an approach." The Red Devils are demanding around €47m for the 24-year-old, while PSG's interest has been played down.

Victor Osimhen boost
PSG's interest has also been played down when it comes to Victor Osimhen, with Sky Sports stating that the Ligue 1 champions will no longer try for the Napoli striker despite the injury to Goncalo Ramos.
PSG had left the talks with the Serie A side earlier this summer after feeling that their financial demands for Osimhen were simply excessive. PSG went on to complete several big-money signings, which suggests that they don't even have the funds for the Nigerian anymore.
Instead, they now appear to be targeting his international teammate Ademola Lookman of Atalanta. This seemingly leaves Chelsea as the only remaining viable option in Europe for Osimhen.
Talks are still ongoing, according to The Athletic, but Chelsea continue to insist on a loan deal hoping that Osimhen will have a change of heart in the final days of the window.
Mike Penders, Gabriel Mec latest
The Athletic has also revealed that Chelsea continue to negotiate for Belgian goalkeeper Mike Penders and Brazilian attacker Gabriel Mec.
The talks for Penders appear to be the more advanced, with the report stating that the signing of the 19-year-old is expected to be announced sooner rather than later.
Regarding the move for Gabriel Mec, Chelsea are still locked in talks with Gremio for the 16-year-old. A far cry from the swift resolution initially posited when the news of the Blues' interest first broke.
15 players to be axed
To fund all of these incomings, Chelsea will have to sell. Gallagher will be the first of what could be an avalanche of exits before the window shuts on August 30.
Romelu Lukaku remains in talks with Napoli, while Bashir Humphreys is set to join Burnley on loan with an obligation to buy. The same formula is preferred for Carney Chukwuemeka.
Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah are being actively pushed out of the club. David Datro Fofana, Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga also have no future at Chelsea.
Cesare Casadei could still leave, but Lesley Ugochukwu's loan to Southampton has potentially opened up a spot for him. Youngsters Alex Matos, Leo Castledine and Alex Vale are expected to also seal loan moves away.
