CONFIRMED: Arsenal and Chelsea eye potential Calvert-Lewin move
Chelsea could pursue a move for Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin if they are unable to sign Victor Osimhen or Ivan Toney, FootballTransfers understands.
Calvert-Lewin has just one year remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park, and we have been told that both Chelsea and Arsenal are admirers of the former England international.
Furthermore, the 27-year-old could leave Everton before Deadline Day ends, with a late move away from the club currently deemed a possibility.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both monitoring the situation, and they could pursue a move for Calvert-Lewin before the summer transfer window ends at 11pm.
Calvert-Lewin scored seven goals and provided two assists in 29 Premier League appearances last season, while he also notched one goal and one assist in the Carabao Cup.
We have also been informed that Everton are interested in signing Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana, which could potentially help Calvert-Lewin’s chances of sealing a Stamford Bridge switch.
As things stand, FootballTransfers understands that Calvert-Lewin is more likely to join Chelsea than Arsenal during the last few hours of the summer window.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Chelsea?
Chelsea view Calvert-Lewin as a cheaper alternative to the aforementioned pair of Osimhen and Toney.
The Blues remain in the market for a new attacker, despite the recent acquisitions of Marc Guiu and Joao Felix, and the Everton star is an option they are considering.
Nicolas Jackson is currently Enzo Maresca’s first-choice number nine, while Guiu started both legs of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League play-off against Swiss side Servette.
Meanwhile, we have been told that the aforementioned Toney has agreed personal terms with Al-Ahli, although Chelsea remain interested in signing the Brentford forward.
Like Calvert-Lewin, Toney only has one year left on his current contract, and he is expected to leave Brentford before the end of Transfer Deadline Day.
