Man Utd have agreed a fee of €59 million in order to sign the Uruguayan midfielder.

United will pay PSG an initial fee of €50m plus €9m in add-ons.

Ugarte will replace Scott McTominay, who is also according to Romano set to undergo a medical on Wednesday at his new club.

McTominay to join Napoli

McTominay will join Napoli, who will pay Manchester United a €30m fee including add-ons for the Scotland midfielder.

Romano has confirmed that McTominay has flown out to Italy to undergo his medical and sign for the Italian side.

McTominay was specifically requested by new Napoli manager Antonio Conte, who was desperate to sign new players to resurrect a squad that finished 10th in Serie A last season.

The midfielder was surplus to requirements at Old Trafford following the agreement to sign Ugarte from PSG.

Napoli are also set to sign another Premier League player, with a deal all done for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku’s move to Napoli will also become official in the coming hours, with the Belgian star set to reunite with his former Inter coach Conte.

Napoli are also working on signing another Premier League star in Brighton’s Billy Gilmour.

However, bringing in the Scottish midfielder is a bit more complicated with the clock ticking down on the transfer window.
