Man Utd bosses EXPECT Chelsea to make Sancho offer
Manchester United chiefs are of the belief that Chelsea could make an offer for Jadon Sancho, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils winger faces an uncertain future. Omitted from Erik ten Hag's squad for the Premier League opener, Sancho could yet depart Old Trafford despite a rapprochement with the boss earlier this summer.
Ten Hag insisted that Sancho missed out on the Fulham game due to an ear infection but appeared to have a little dig at him by claiming that securing a squad place at Man Utd would be about 'survival of the fittest' this season.

Last week, shock links with a Chelsea move emerged. It was claimed that the Blues could look to offer either a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy while some academy prospects could move to Man Utd.
Though this still appears far-fetched, it is evidently not a completely baseless claim.
Chelsea to move for Sancho?
That is because The Athletic is now reporting that "some at United sense Chelsea may make an approach" for the 24-year-old before the window shuts.
Not much additional information is provided besides the fact that the Red Devils are asking for around €47 million and that the prospects of a transfer to long-time admirers PSG were played down.

A move for Sancho would be another baffling decision by the Chelsea hierarchy given how many attacking options they already have on their books.
Their business has come under heavy fire in the wake of agreeing a €50m deal for Joao Felix and targeting Sancho would only add to the feeling that there is something seriously wrong at Stamford Bridge.
Sancho also has other suitors, but his wage demands and price have made finding a prospective buyer difficult.
