Juventus confirm Man Utd can sign Euro 2024 flop
Juventus manager Thiago Motta has confirmed that Federico Chiesa has no future at the club and must find a new team this summer.
Chiesa has been transfer listed since the end of last season, with Man Utd among the clubs who are considering making a move for the Euro 2024 winger.
And Juventus coach Motta confirmed after leaving Chiesa out of his squad for the 2-2 friendly draw with Brest on Saturday evening that the Italian is out of his project.

What did Motta say?
“Chiesa is out for transfer reasons, the same as the others who were left behind, other than Fabio Miretti who is injured,” Motta told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have been very clear with them [Chiesa and the players left out of the squad against Brest].
“They are talented, but must find other options where they will get more playing time. For Chiesa and the others, the decision has been made.”
Man Utd are in the market for a new winger this summer and are considering making a move for Chiesa, who was one of the stars of Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph but has since struggled with injuries.

Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani travelled to England in the past days to meet with Man Utd, as well as Tottenham, Chelsea and other Premier League suitors.
United are considered the most likely destination out of these clubs, but until now there has been no concrete offer from a Premier League team.
Why Juventus want to sell Chiesa
There are a number of reasons why Juventus plan to sell Chiesa..
First of all, his contract expires in 2025, and contract renewal talks have ended.
Juventus are unwilling to match Chiesa’s demands of €7 million per season due to his constant injuries.
He missed most of 2022 with an ACL injury and has suffered 10 different physical problems in the last 18 months after returning.
Chiesa has yet to return to the levels that saw him explode as one of Europe’s best wingers at Euro 2020, and this is another reason Juventus are reluctant to give him a big contract.
New Juventus manager Thiago Motta also sees Chiesa as expendable and doesn’t believe he fits into his team tactically.
Chiesa would ideally like the stay but has now accepted he must find a new club.
He struggled at Euro 2024, which has not helped his cause at repairing his reputation.
