Chilwell to Man Utd? Truth behind rumour as ‘all documents signed’ for €30m deal
Manchester United are set for a busy conclusion in the transfer window, with several players set to depart the club and potentially one or even two arriving.
One of the players who has been linked with a move to Man Utd is Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell, who has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
Rumours have been building that the former Leicester left-back could move to Old Trafford as part of a deal that would take Jadon Sancho in the opposite direction. On Wednesday, it was claimed these discussions were separate from a deal that might take Raheem Sterling to Man Utd, but Fabrizio Romano and Ben Jacobs have now revealed the truth behind the claims.

McTominay closing in on Napoli transfer
Man Utd are, however, making quick progress to a resolution on the future of Scott McTominay, who is set to complete a move to Napoli imminently.
The Scotland international midfielder is poised to complete a €30 million move to Serie A side Napoli – a welcome windfall for the Red Devils, who are likely to use the fee to complete a move for PSG’s Manuel Ugarte.
Romano says: “Manchester United and Napoli have signed all the documents for Scott McTominay deal.
“He'll be in Italy later today to sign long term deal at the club for €30m package plus 10% sell-on clause.”
McTominay will become the most expensive Scottish player in history with the deal. He has reportedly rejected the opportunity of moving to a trio of Premier League clubs to make the switch to Serie A.
