Euro 2024 star set to snub Man Utd despite hijack attempt
Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu wants to move to the Premier League this summer and he is expected to join Brighton & Hove Albion despite interest from Manchester United.
The 24-year-old starred for Turkey at the 2024 European Championship and he is being pursued by multiple top European clubs as the transfer window edges closer to Deadline Day.
As exclusively reported by FootballTransfers, both Arsenal and Man Utd sent scouts to watch Kadioglu in action at Euro 2024, while Tottenham Hotspur are admirers too.

However, Brighton have stolen a march and they are currently the frontrunners to sign the Turkey defender.
Kadioglu is eager to join Fabian Hurzeler’s side and Brighton expect Fenerbahce to accept their latest offer of €35 million, according to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
Furthermore, the Seagulls are reportedly keen to finalise the deal this week, and they recently contacted Kadioglu’s representatives to ask for an update on the situation.

The Fenerbahce star has already agreed personal terms with Brighton and he is expected to become their seventh signing of the summer window, following the arrivals of Yankuba Minteh, Mats Wieffer, Brajan Gruda, Ibrahim Osman, Malick Junior Yalcouye and Amario Cozier-Duberry.
Leeds United star Georginio Rutter is also on the verge of joining Seagulls for €47m.
Man Utd blow
News of Kadioglu’s willingness to join Brighton will come as a hammer blow to Man Utd, who were eager to hijack the Seagulls’ move for the Fenerbahce defender.
According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Man Utd have already submitted their first offer for Kadioglu and are eyeing a late summer swoop following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
However, the 24-year-old remains keen to join Brighton and he therefore looks set to snub Man Utd in favour of a move to the AMEX Stadium.
