Archie Gray (Tottenham Hotspur)

In Archie Gray, Tottenham Hotspur have signed a player destined to reach the top of English football.

The 18-year-old was a mainstay at Leeds United last season and Spurs have spent over €40 million to sign him, amid competition from virtually every top club in England.

Gray is capable of playing at right-back or in central midfield and he is set for a big first season under Ange Postecoglou.

The Leeds academy graduate is technically brilliant, tenacious off the ball and is ready for the step up from the Championship to the Premier League. He is understandably a player worth watching out for next year.

Leny Yoro (Manchester United)

Leny Yoro has the unenviable task of replacing Raphael Varane at Manchester United.

The teenager has just one full season of senior football under his belt, yet the Red Devils have splashed an initial €62m to sign him from Lille.

Yoro is considered to be one of the best talents in French football and Man Utd beat the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to his signature.

While the youngster is currently injured, it will be intriguing to see how he deals with the physicality of Premier League football and the spotlight he’ll be under when he returns.

Emile Smith Rowe (Fulham)

The final two seasons of Emile Smith Rowe’s Arsenal career didn’t go as planned. The Englishman went from an indispensable starter to mustering just 671 minutes of action in all competitions across the 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns combined.

He has now left the club after Fulham reached an agreement to sign him for an initial €31.8m.

At Craven Cottage, Smith Rowe will be given the chance to kickstart his career. The Hale End academy graduate is sublimely talented and his imminent renaissance in west London is certainly something to keep an eye on.

Crysencio Summerville (West Ham United)

West Ham are quietly building a very nice team at the London Stadium. Julen Lopetegui still has a few things to prove in the Premier League, after a mixed stint at Wolves, but the Spaniard has certainly been backed in the market.

Max Kilman is a nice defensive addition, Luis Guilherme is a highly-rated young Brazilian and Crysencio Summerville is arguably the pick of the bunch.

The Dutchman won the Championship Player of the Year award in 2023-24 after a stellar final season at Leeds, in which he notched 29 goals and assists in the league.

Summerville will join a frontline that already contains Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen, and he could be key as West Ham push for Europe.

Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal)

Riccardo Calafiori has joined Arsenal off the back of starring at Euro 2024 and helping Bologna qualify for the Champions League.

He enjoyed an immense campaign in Serie A last year, and Federico Dimarco was the only defender in the division to notch more than his five league assists.

The Italy international is expected to become the Gunners’ first-choice left-back, although it will be fascinating to see how Mikel Arteta plans on structuring his backline this year.

As a result, Calafiori is a player to watch this season, especially as he thrives when driving forward from the back with the ball at his feet.
