Romelu Lukaku FLOORS photographer as he completes Napoli transfer
Romelu Lukaku had quite the entrance in Napoli on Wednesday as he arrived to complete his long-awaited transfer from Chelsea.
Lukaku arrived at Ciampino Airport this morning in Rome before travelling to Villa Stuart for his Napoli medical.
As he made his way out of his vehicle towards the medical facility, he was greeted by a scrum of photographers and excited Napoli fans.
As Lukaku made his way through the crowd, the ensuing scrum led to one photographer falling to the floor heavily.
Lukaku noticed the fall and waited before helping the photographer to his feet before making his way inside.

Lukaku’s transfer to Napoli could become official today after the Italian club agreed on a €30 million deal with Chelsea.
He will sign a contract until 2027
Lukaku will replace Victor Osimhen, who will be sold before the end of the transfer window.
Chelsea are in talks to sign the Nigeria striker from Napoli.

Lukaku has already been receiving training and tactical instructions from Napoli coach Antonio Conte in order to best prepare him ahead of joining with his teammates.
Conte and Lukaku previously worked together at Inter, where the Belgian played the best football of his career on the way to winning the 2021 Scudetto.
Conte previously tried to sign Lukaku when he was Juventus and Chelsea manager.

Lukaku was not in Chelsea’s plans for next season following his return to the club after his loan at Roma this past season.
Lukaku at Chelsea
Lukaku initially rejoined Chelsea from Inter in the summer of 2021 for a then-club record transfer fee of €115 million.
But he was a disaster during the 2021-22 campaign, falling out with manager Thomas Tuchel, criticising the club publicly and performing poorly on the pitch.
Chelsea have tried to sell Lukaku since then but had been unable to find a club willing to pay the amortised cost of his transfer each summer.
As a result, he spent the 2022-23 campaign back at Inter on loan, and then last season on loan at Roma.
He will now join Napoli permanently.
Lukaku played at Euro 2024 for Belgium where he failed to find the back of the net as his country were eliminated in the last 16 by France.
