How Tottenham will line up with Dominic Solanke

Guglielmo Vicario impressed during his debut campaign at Spurs and he will keep his place as Postecoglou’s number one in 2024-25.

Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie will continue as the first-choice back four, although Radu Dragusin will be pushing for a starting berth after his impressive Euro 2024 campaign.

Archie Gray could also feature at right-back, but the Englishman is likely to be utilised in central midfield. Pape Matar Sarr could well start ahead of Gray, and Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur, Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso are also options.

Meanwhile, James Maddison will remain as Spurs’ preferred attacking midfielder.

Heung-min Son spent a portion of last season playing through the middle, but he will be shifted out to the left wing, while Brennan Johnson will likely play ahead of Dejan Kulusevski on the opposite flank.

Solanke will immediately become Tottenham’s first-choice striker, with Richarlison dropping to the bench.
