Victor Osimhen transfer twist: Serious injury changes everything for Napoli ace
Victor Osimhen’s exit from Napoli is the transfer saga that seems to keep on changing, and now a serious injury means his future has taken another major twist.
Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG have been the three most persistent sides when it has come to chasing Osimhen, with all three holding a variable level of interest as the transfer market enters its final fortnight.
PSG have been the side leading the race for the 25-year-old Nigeria international, with terms already agreed with the player.

Like Chelsea and Arsenal, though, the Ligue 1 side have been unable to negotiate a transfer fee with Napoli, who remain stubborn that the player will not leave for anything less than €130 million, despite Osimhen having handed in a transfer request.
The Serie A club’s bargaining position just became a whole lot stronger because of what appears to be a serious injury picked up by PSG striker Goncalo Ramos in their opening match of the season.
Ramos set up the opening goal of the season for Lee Kang-in before being taken off in the first half after a blow to his left ankle.
“I’m not a doctor but I think the injury is quite serious,” head coach Luis Enrique admitted after the game. “I don’t know how long he’ll be out for, but it’s definitely something serious.”

Osimhen back on the radar
According to SportMediaset, PSG have already rekindled their chase for Osimhen, who they began chasing last summer, even making a bid of €150m for the player at that point.
The Ligue 1 side, after all, are left with just one option at centre-forward: Randal Kolo-Muani, who had a difficult first season at the club.
Half of the deal for the forward is already completed, with an agreement on a €12m per year salary for the striker, yet the stumbling block promises to be brokering a deal with Napoli.
In any case, this latest update pushes Osimhen towards PSG and further away from Arsenal and Chelsea.
