EA Sports FC 25 wonderkids: The 10 best young goalkeepers

Guillaume Restes has the highest-rated potential of any wonderkid goalkeeper on EA Sports FC 25.

The Toulouse shot-stopper has a base rating of 78, but his potential rating in Career Mode stands at a whopping 88. As a result, he is deemed to be the most talented young goalkeeper in world football for the second consecutive season.

Each year, players are given a ‘potential’ rating in Career Mode to go alongside their regular rating in Kick Off and Ultimate Team. This makes Career Mode a unique experience as EA FC 25 players are able to see young stars increase in rating every season.

Restes is the standout leader among goalkeepers aged 21 or under, with the Frenchman able to become an 88 rated player in Career Mode.

Despite starting the game as a 63 rated player, Stuttgart’s Dennis Seiman has the joint-second highest potential of any U21 goalkeeper on EA Sports FC 25 Career Mode.

He has a potential rating of 84, which is the same as Jonas Urbig (Koln), James Trafford (Burnley) and Bart Verbruggen (Brighton).

AZ Alkmaar’s Rome-Jayden Owusu-Odoru and Genk’s Mike Penders both have 83 potential on EA FC 25, with the latter joining Chelsea next summer.

In eighth place is Real Madrid academy goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez. The Spaniard has been given a base overall rating of just 62, however his potential rating stands at 82. James Beadle (Sheffield Wednesday) and Diego Calai (Sporting) have also been handed 82 potential.
