Cole Palmer broke the record of netting four goals in a single half on Saturday.

The Chelsea man broke onto the scene with his excellent form last season but he is already picking up from where he left off.

The England international has ten goal contributions in 416 minutes of Premier League action so far.

Being 22 years old, the possibilities about what he could become are scary. You have to be a fool to believe that Manchester City don't regret moving the youngster to a top-six rival for €47 million.

Palmer’s ability to find space in the box is one of his strongest assets. He continually reads the game, anticipating defenders' movements to exploit gaps. His goals come from these well-timed runs into open areas, especially during cut-back situations where his precision and timing shine.

It's a stark contrast to a player like Erling Haaland, who uses his body to plant himself in the best positions and fight off opposition using his towering height.

Palmer is proving to be one of the world's best

And unlike Haaland, Palmer’s long-range shooting adds another dimension to his game. Chelsea’s attacking width often pushes opponents deep, creating gaps just outside the box. Palmer is quick to seize these opportunities, unleashing powerful, accurate shots from distance. He can also find the net from free-kicks, as was evident against Brighton on Saturday.

The mixture of both goals and assists combined makes Palmer an elite player, one with a better sense of versatility than Haaland. Of course, the Norwegian is a beast of his own but in different ways.

In Palmer, Chelsea really might have found themselves the best in the Premier League for years to come and you can even count on Real Madrid and the like to start having a look in soon.
