Bayern Munich want to sell Kingsley Coman during the January transfer window amid interest from multiple Premier League clubs.

The France international was expected to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, but Coman was unable to finalise an exit, despite heavy links with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Arsenal and Manchester United were both linked with a late move for the Bayern star, however the Gunners opted to sign Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea, while Erik ten Hag’s side decided against purchasing a new winger.

Despite remaining at Bayern over the summer, Coman could well leave the club when the January window opens.

The Frenchman is yet to start a competitive game this season, with Michael Olise preferred, and Bayern are open to selling him in 2025.

Bundesliga journalist Christian Falk told CaughtOffside: “If there will be a club willing to pay for him, and if it comes from the Premier League, I think both sides (Bayern and Coman) would be prepared to talk.

“There will always be rumours about Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United, so there are clubs interested in Coman if he’s not injured.

“If he’s playing very well in the lead-up to winter, I think a move could happen, as Bayern wants to sell him.”

Kingsley Coman to leave Bayern Munich?

Coman joined Bayern from Juventus for €21 million in 2017 and he has won 20 major trophies since his arrival in Bavaria.

The France international still has three years remaining on his current contract at the Allianz Arena, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €35.4m.

Despite his obvious talent, Coman’s time at Bayern has been regularly interrupted by injury problems and he is yet to register 25 starts in a single Bundesliga campaign since he joined the club seven years ago.
