'We will let you know' - Ten Hag teases huge Mainoo announcement
Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has finally spoken out on the contract situation concerning Kobbie Mainoo.
The youngster broke onto the scene in January after coming back from an injury. He impressed so much that he was called up to the England squad for the Euro 2024 campaign.
Reports suggested that as a result of his excellent form, United were in talks to give Mainoo a fresh new deal. And now the club's head coach has opened up on the issue.

Ten Hag said before the Red Devils' Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace: "We are very happy with his development. The management has to make a decision about it.
"Of course, we do this in cooperation. It is something that we always have to discuss when a player is progressing. When we have news, we will let you know."
Mainoo in 2024/25
Mainoo has continued to impress in the early parts of the 2024/25 season, though his impact has perhaps not been quite the same as when he first burst onto the scene.
This might very well be due to his shorter summer break after reaching the final of Euro 2024 with England. Additionally, the youngster has a new midfield partner in Christian Eriksen, who has supplanted Casemiro in recent times.
